The Mercier Method

Optimizing your fertility and bringing healing through Mercier Therapy

Mercier Therapy is a non-invasive yet profound bodywork modality done on the reproductive organs to improve fertility and help women recover from abdominal surgery. In 2025, Mercier Therapy is 20 years old. Developed by Dr. Mercier, this method has helped hundreds of women conceive gently and has prepared many to achieve a better overall outcome with medically assisted cycles such as IVF. Mercier therapy has also been paramount in helping to serve women with pelvic pain and c-section recovery. Mercier therapy is in 34 states and 22 countries worldwide.

A four-year ongoing study started in January 2009 utilizing Mercier protocols for women with fertility challenges had come to an end. The conclusion supported many positive outcomes for the participants.

83% of the women became pregnant within a year of finishing the Mercier Therapy Shared Journey Fertility program which included 6 hours of pelvic organ manipulation and a few supportive supplements. The majority of these women had no medical intervention and just monitored their own cycles with the help of Jennifer Mercier’s support.

"With all the medical advances we boast of, the next break through in mainstream medicine, I believe, will be the recognition of the human mind and body as one entity requiring attention as one fluid form. Mercier Therapy is revolutionary in that it approaches the female body with that basic understanding."

"This non-risky approach to resolving ‘infertility’ is a blessing and it fits with the philosophies of ‘do the greatest good with the least amount of harm’, and creating safe, effective healthy alternatives to the medical-pharmaceutical approaches."

"Where there are no genuine problems of a surgical nature we must empower couples to know their individual bodies and find their best health before becoming pregnant. Therapies like the one Jennifer Mercier has devised need to be shared far and wide to reawaken this notion on a cultural level.“
