"With all the medical advances we boast of, the next break through in mainstream medicine, I believe, will be the recognition of the human mind and body as one entity requiring attention as one fluid form. Mercier Therapy is revolutionary in that it approaches the female body with that basic understanding."

"Where there are no genuine problems of a surgical nature we must empower couples to know their individual bodies and find their best health before becoming pregnant. Therapies like the one Jennifer Mercier has devised need to be shared far and wide to reawaken this notion on a cultural level.“

A four-year ongoing study started in January 2009 utilizing Mercier protocols for women with fertility challenges had come to an end. The conclusion supported many positive outcomes for the participants.

83% of the women became pregnant within a year of finishing the Mercier Therapy Shared Journey Fertility program which included 6 hours of pelvic organ manipulation and a few supportive supplements. The majority of these women had no medical intervention and just monitored their own cycles with the help of Jennifer Mercier’s support.

Kayla lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and two little boys, Ansel and Ellis. After experiencing premature rupture of membranes, her second son was born three months early via c-section and spent six months in the NICU. This experience, as well as a difficult miscarriage with her first pregnancy and a large hematoma with the next, set her on her journey of studying reproductive health.

Her dedication lies in helping women facing infertility, hormonal imbalances, pelvic pain, and traumatic birth experiences.

What is Mercier Therapy

Mercier Therapy is a specialized, non-invasive pelvic visceral manipulation technique designed to improve the mobility and function of the reproductive organs. Developed over two decades ago by Dr. Jennifer Mercier, this hands-on therapy works by gently breaking up adhesions, improving blood flow, and restoring optimal alignment to the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures. By addressing restrictions in this area, Mercier Therapy supports hormonal balance, encourages ovulation, and may improve egg quality and ovarian function—key factors in enhancing natural fertility and improving outcomes with assisted reproductive technologies like IUI and IVF.

In addition to fertility support, Mercier Therapy plays a crucial role in post-surgical recovery, especially following C-sections. It can help reduce scar tissue, restore pelvic mobility, and alleviate lingering pain or tightness, often beginning as early as six weeks postpartum with physician clearance. Clients have reported improvements in menstrual cycles, reduced pelvic pain, and a deeper connection with their reproductive health.

The therapy is often offered as part of comprehensive programs, such as the Shared Journey Fertility Program, which includes six weekly therapy sessions, personalized supplements, optional bioidentical hormones and teas, functional lab work, cycle charting education, and ongoing support. With providers in 34 states and 22 countries, Mercier Therapy has become a trusted and effective approach for women seeking a natural, evidence-informed path to reproductive wellness.
